Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku - Review Update

Overview
The story revolves around a transfer student named Kohei Hasekura who discovers that his new remote island school, Shuchikan Academy, has a female vampire named Erika Sendo within its student body. Another Romantic Anime based around Vampires. Highly over done these days. As long as they don't sparkle, I'll watch it. It's also based on a adult visual novel.

Episode 1
Such a nice romantic anime that ends in a dark mysterious way. I'm pretty sure that's the point of an anime that coves both Romance and Vampire genres. The episode itself did a pretty good job introducing all the characters and even gives you an idea about each of their personalities.  So far the show is starting off quite good. Looks like this show is another one that has short bonus scenes after each of the credits.

Episode 2
The girl with the pet rabbit reminds me a lot of the twin sister from Yosuga no Sora. I think it's the hair style and the hair color is similar as well. This episode forshadows something unusual about the main character. I can see a pretty crazy plot twist coming into play half way through the storyline.

Episode 3
I kinda think it's funny that the Japanese version of Vampire is like Blade. They can walk around in the daylight without any problems, ignore garlic allergies, have reflections, and are pretty much normal. Well, except for their blood sucking. They also seem to have inhanced strength and speed, but not all the time. I guess it depends on the story. Anyway, the episode is kinda confusing. It's a bit hard to explain without spoiling much. You'll just have to watch it and judge for yourself.

Wrap Up
As an over did genre combination, this show doesn't seem too bad so far. I didn't care much for how they took the possible villain and dark undertone and changed it in the third episode making it more low key and changing the villain to an ally without any confertation. I personally don't watch Anime like this, so it's hard for me to judge if this is a good show or not. As someone who hasn't seen it, I didn't mind it much. I wouldn't recomend it unless you were bored and/or ran out of other Anime to watch. It's something I wouldn't wait around to see weekly.
